How to play

You control one panda at a time while the other remains stationary. Use the Left and Right Arrow keys or A and D to move across platforms, and press the Up Arrow or W to jump. Pressing the Spacebar instantly switches active control between the Giant Panda and the Red Panda.

Each panda possesses specialized abilities essential for solving environmental puzzles:

• Giant Panda: Uses heavy weight to push blocks, smash fragile floor tiles, defeat patrolling enemies by stomping on them, and swim across deep water while ferrying the smaller panda on its head.
• Red Panda: Uses nimbleness to climb vertical bamboo stalks, shimmy across suspended ropes, pick up door keys, and trigger wall switches.

Both bears can jump onto each other to form a living ladder, giving you extra vertical reach to grab high ledges. A level is complete only when both pandas arrive safely at the checkered exit marker.

Helpful strategies

Clear the perimeter before advancing delicate objectives. The Giant Panda is resilient and can stomp most hazards, making it smart to lead with the larger bear to neutralize wandering foes and clear breakable barriers.

Always park the inactive panda on safe, flat terrain before tapping Spacebar. If you switch while standing on a narrow precipice or near a hazard, a sudden misstep later can leave the waiting character in danger.

Remember that the Red Panda cannot swim. When deep water cuts off your path, position the Red Panda directly on top of the Giant Panda before swimming across the pond together.
