A round of Hole.io lasts only 120 seconds. Every single movement must contribute to diameter expansion.
The Golden Rule of the Opening 15 Seconds
Never duel with rival holes at the start of a match. Two small holes colliding waste valuable growth time. Turn 180 degrees away from competitors and sprint toward the nearest park or pedestrian plaza.
Evading Apex Holes
If a hole two tiers larger than you gives chase, retreat into narrow alleys or between skyscrapers. While you can glide through gaps freely, the larger hole's collision boundary will get hung up on the buildings, allowing you to slip away safely.
Hunting in the Final 30 Seconds
Once you attain skyscraper scale, stop hunting streetlights—hunt other players! Each swallowed competitor awards huge bonus points and guarantees your 1st place podium finish.
